My Life Binder: Dividers!!!!!!!!!!

Hello Ladies and Gents!!
Sooooo, I started a life binder. You know the binders that are swarming Pinterest as well as the interwebs. I used the printables provided by Jen at iHeart OrganizingMandi at Finding HomeAll Things Moms, and Home Your Way to fill my binder. But, of course I added a few things of my own. But, that my friends will be another blog post.
This is my beautiful Life Binder I have been going on and on about. This binder was recycled from last semester, but bought from Target. It is a 2" binder, maybe even smaller I do not remember. Inside are 5 tabs, each of which I will tell you more in depth about in another blog post.
The first tab holds emergency info, medical info, contacts, and takeout numbers. Simple, all the things that I made or someone else may need at a moments notice. Plus, it gives me a hard copy of my phone numbers just in case something happened to my phone, or sim card.

This tab holds my packing and travel check list, wish list, books to read, birthdays and special events, gift giving, and movies to watch. This helps keep all the things I need to remember but often forget at hand. It also helps me with my shopping addiction. I never knew that it would actually work, but keeping a wish list keeps the urges at bay. It organizes the wants and makes me really understand the wants.

The third tab includes a calendar (with big enough spaces to write in) and weekly agenda sheets. Its basically everything you would get in a regular agendas.

This tab only has daily schedules, which in another post I will bore you to death about what the daily schedule includes.
And, the last tabe... Drumroll PLEASE..... My school schedule, schedule of daily activities, cleaning calendar, clothing sizes, bible study notes, prayer journal, and the rest are finance templates (I am not using these now but I am just saving these for when I get married).
This folder includes all things I need to put in the binder in the future, also things I need to fill out. Such as job applications, letters, birthday cards, etc.

These are just extra page protectors for important things that need to be put in my binder.

I have decided to keep a record binder for the calendars, agendas, daily schedules, bible study pages, wish lists, book lists, and movies to watch that I have used and filled out. I will swap these out at midterm and during the summer monthly.

I also taped a note in the inside flap of my binder that says:

Life Binder:
  • Switch out all calendars at midterm, place in record keeping binder.
  • Do not give up.
  • Keep this binder organized.
  • Jesus loves you.
  • Never leave things in folders for longer than two days.
I hope this helps you guys. I will be posting giving particulars on what, where, and why I put what I put in my life binder.
